When I went to Florida in the winter of 2010 I discovered the most amazing chocolate chip cookies I have ever had. Then last week, I saw some guy on twitter post a chocolate chip cookie stuffed with more chocolate. I remembered those amazing chocolate chip cookies from Florida, and I stared at the jar of Nutella sitting on my dining table. BOOM! Nutella stuffed chocolate chip cookies sounds pretty awesome!
The cookie recipe and procedure is nothing out ordinary. It’s your usual cookie recipe and method of baking it. But we pull out these cookies a little bit under cooked for some (even for me sometimes that I tend to leave it in the oven for a couple more minutes and then find it overcooked when it’s cooled).
Ingredients
- ¾ cups Granulated sugar
- ¾ cups Light brown sugar
- 1 cup (2 sticks) Butter, softened
- 2 Eggs
- 2 ½ cups All purpose flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 12 oz Chocolate chips
- Nutella to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 F. Then lower to 375 F when you put the cookies in.
Mix all dry ingredients together. Cream butter and sugar, when it’s light add eggs and vanilla. Mix until eggs are properly mixed in. Add dry ingredients and mix. And then add chocolate chips. Mix chocolate chips.
Bake until sides are golden brown and center still a little soft (not springy unlike some recipes).

I am so proud of myself for being able to photo document this recipe as I went! HAHA I always forget! Also, you can use any cookie base you want. I just happen to love chocolate chips!!!
